Ballard'S Beach Resort - New Shoreham

I had a fantastic two-night stay! The room was spacious and clean, though the 'water view' was kind of misleading as it was only from the side balcony. The 18% ‘tip fee’ on everything was pretty steep and took away from the relaxing vibe.

location: the hotel was so close to the beach. amiable and good staff suggested restaurants. my a double room had modern conveniences, including a flat-screen tv with cable channels, climate control, and an individual safe.

We got 2 nights in this absolutely great hotel, really enjoyed it. The room was clean, also it had smoke detectors. The staff was amicable and helpful.

I was shocked at the prices, even a simple can of water came with a ridiculous 18% tip fee. How do you expect guests to pay $30 for a lounge chair when no one else is even here? It would have been nice to at least recieve some complimentary gesture for this inconvenience. Just couldn't give a good review after all.

The pricing for everything shocked me!!! Paying $30 for a lounge chair and over $20 for a small plastic chair is absurd!!! A better arrangement with chair rentals would enhance the experience!!!

The staff, coming from various countries, were genuinely friendly and offered excellent assistance throughout our stay. The room was spacious and clean. I loved having access to complimentary bikes to explore the scenic surroundings. It enhanced our experience on the island.

We had such a great time at this beach resort! The staff were super friendly. The location was perfect for checking out nearby places like the lighthouse and local eateries. Plus, we enjoyed biking around the area. Definitely recommend bringing your own beach gear though!

The staff at Ballard'S Beach Resort were attentive, providing thoughtful recommendations for nearby attractions and always ready to assist. The cleanliness of our room was excellent, especially for us older ladies.

The beach was fine, allowing my kids to play in the sand while I caught some rays. The complimentary bikes were a hit. We rode around exploring the beautiful surroundings, perfect for a family outing.

My wife says that more family-friendly activities would be great.
